Have you heard of the term “Essentialism?”
It was coined by the author Greg McKeown who wrote the book of the same title.
Essentialism is fundamentally about designing and taking control of your life so that you can purposefully direct your energy to bring you closer to your goals.
It’s about knowing the things that will move you forward and putting them before everything else, and living by design rather than default.
Nonessentialism is everywhere…our lives become cluttered and we take action based on what we’ve always done, what other people want for us or what we see as the default action to take.
Can you see how this might relate to your work and career?
In this episode of The Aligned Achiever podcast we explore the big and little picture of essentialism in your career and how you can embrace being an essentialist to reboot your career in a meaningful direction
